Exploring the meadow trails in the spa town

Allgäu Hiking Trilogy
=====================

The hiking trilogy encompasses the three landscape types of the Allgäu region: the mountainous landscape, the water-rich Alpine foothills, and the rolling hills. An 891-kilometer network of hiking trails connects these landscapes and tells their stories. In Bad Wörishofen, you can enjoy leisurely walks on meadow trails through green meadows, exploring the gentle landscape of the Lower Allgäu with its "Paths of Happiness."

**Total length of the Bad Wörishofen local loop: 5.2 km**

From the starting point and welcome area at Luitpold-Leusser Platz, head west on Bonifaz-Reile-Weg to the spa promenade. Continue left through the pedestrian zone, past the Kneipp monument, and then turn right onto Hans-Holzmann-Straße. At the end of the street, on the right-hand side, you'll find the Kneipp facility with its gemstone walk. Cross Fidel-Kreuzer-Straße, turn onto Franz-Kleinschrod-Weg, passing the graduation tower and the Father Kneipp fountain into the spa park, through the fragrance and aroma garden and the three medicinal herb gardens. At the information pavilion, turn left to the "Island of Happiness" on the Jakobsweiher pond. Continue through the rose garden, past the barefoot labyrinth, and cross the road to the Kneipp facility on Schöneschacher Straße. Follow the Stutweidbach stream. After the small wooded area, turn left, then continue straight ahead to Heuweg, past Café Schwermer, and south to the Mühlbuch Kneipp facility. Pass the farm, then immediately turn right (south) to the "Schöner Aussicht" (Beautiful View) with the new fish ladder on the Wörthbach stream – a beautiful panoramic view of Bad Wörishofen. At the end of the path, turn left, and at the wayside cross, head north to the oak grove with its trilogy needles and fascinating stories. Pass the Obere Mühlstraße park with its art trail and natural water treading basin. Turn left onto the main street, pass the monastery church and the parish church of St. Justina, and return to the Kurhaus.
