Hiking is one of the healthiest forms of exercise there is – even in winter. A total of 55 different and varied hiking routes are available for our guests and locals. The Unterallgäu region reveals its most beautiful side on these trails. Passing small chapels, cozy places to stop for refreshments, and along romantic forest paths, you can easily cover a lot of ground. Winter hiking is good for body and soul and an ideal form of preventative care. It strengthens our immune system and keeps us fit. Experts recommend that those who want to experience all these positive effects firsthand hike at least twice a week.

Join your children and grandchildren on an adventure with our adorable young woodpecker, Kneippsi!

The Woodpecker & Co. Nature Trail, a 3,650-meter-long path with 15 stations, showcases the wonders of the forests surrounding Bad Wörishofen. From birdwatching boxes and walk-in nesting boxes to insect hotels and bird weddings, visitors can learn, participate, dance, and simply have fun at the various stations.
